In this 2.5-hour workshop, we’ll explore the shimmering, textured beauty of micaceous clay from Northern New Mexico. I'll guide you through the process to create a unique altar/wall hanging. Perfect for holding a candle, precious things, or just to display on it's own.
Multiple templates and designs will be available to customize your piece. Pieces will be fired and left unglazed - allowing the beautiful mica to sparkle through (which turns gold after firing!)
No experience needed, just come ready to play.
Please dress comfortably and be ready to get your hands dirty, in the best way. Short nails recommended for a more enjoyable experience.
Pieces will be fired unglazed and ready for pick-up in 4-5 weeks. Shipping available for an additional fee.
