Celebrate the season with clay in hand and community all around.

In this relaxed, drop-in-style workshop, we’ll gather in the backyard studio to create clay ornaments or wall hangings using mica-rich clay. This shimmering clay from Northern New Mexico has bits of mica in it that turn GOLD after firing. Whether you're crafting gifts, heirlooms, or just playing with mud for the joy of it, you’ll walk away with a set of soulful, handmade pieces.

What you’ll make

• Create 4 small ornaments or 1 connected wall hanging
  
• Choose from a variety of custom shapes: burro, saguaro, reindeer, cowboy boots, moons, stars, suns, and more, or bring your favorite cookie cutter!
  
• Stamp, carve, and decorate with tools and textures
  
• Pieces will be fired unglazed and ready for pickup in 3–4 weeks (shipping available)
