Micaceous clay, sourced from Northern New Mexico, carries natural flecks of mica that transform into a warm golden sparkle once fired. Using provided templates, you’ll shape and design your own pieces before finishing them with high-quality jewelry findings and hand-selected stones.
Together, Katie and Alaina will guide you step by step as you create:
Light snacks and drinks are provided. Please dress comfortably and be ready to get your hands dirty—in the best way. Short nails recommended for a more enjoyable experience.
Each piece will be fired and left unglazed, allowing the mica’s natural golden shimmer to shine through. Your finished jewelry will be ready for pickup 4–5 weeks after the workshop. Shipping available for an additional fee.
